Friday, February 6, 2009. We opened a new road off Perch Parkway out to where all of the portables were fishing the last couple of weeks so even if you do not have a snowmobile, you can get in on the fun. They are forcasting about 5 days of warm weather starting Friday so we may finally get a more consistent bite. We have not had 5 warm days in a row all year. There are 3 weekend left counting this one so enjoy the fishing while you can. It is a long spring until soft water. Thursday, January 22, 2009.
Dean and Renee Hanson, along with their children Sam and Mallory have owned Agate Bay Resort for over 20 years. We offer comfortable cabins, daily and seasonal camping and a wonderful protected harbor with two large concrete ramps for boat launching in the summer. During the winter, we rent one large cabin and a varied assortment of ice fishing houses suitable for 2 to 9 people with amenities ranging from basic to deluxe. We offer services for privately owned ice fishing houses.
